GPU marketplace
The marketplace connects people who want to rent GPUs with hosts who list them. Hosts set their own prices and decide which requests to accept. Reviews must be honest and about the rental itself. We may remove listings or accounts that are misleading or abusive.
Payments and refunds
Where card payments are on, renters pay through the marketplace (processed by Stripe):
- The card is authorized with the request, charged when the host accepts, and released if the host declines or does not answer within six days.
- TDCC holds the payment until 24 hours after the rental ends and then pays the host, minus the marketplace fee shown in the host's account.
- If the host cancels an accepted rental, the renter is refunded in full. If the renter cancels, they are refunded for the hours that had not begun.
- Either side can report a problem within 14 days of the end of a rental. While a report is open the payout waits, and TDCC decides on refunds after hearing both sides.
Where card payments are not on, renters and hosts agree on payment directly and TDCC is not a party to that agreement. Hosts are responsible for their own taxes on what they earn.
Instant machines
On instant machines, renters get root inside their own container on the host's machine for the rented hours. The container and its data are deleted when the rental ends, so renters must copy their results off in time, and hosts must not inspect renters' containers.
Hosts
Hosts must only list hardware they own or are authorized to rent out, and must describe it accurately.
Renters
Renters must not use rented hardware for anything unlawful, for attacks on other systems, or in breach of the host's reasonable rules.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its operation.
